Establishment of RTI Cell
In accordance with the provisions of the Right to Information Act, 2005, and as per the directives of the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the requirements of the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), an RTI Cell is hereby established in Sarvajanik Commerce College, Godhra.
The RTI Cell ensures transparency, accountability, and good governance by providing timely information to students, staff, and the public under the provisions of the RTI Act.
Objectives of the RTI Cell
- To promote transparency and accountability in all institutional processes.
- To facilitate the right to access information as guaranteed under the RTI Act, 2005.
- To act as a nodal agency for handling RTI requests and appeals.
- To create awareness among staff and students regarding the provisions of the RTI Act.
- To maintain and publish mandatory disclosures under Section 4(1)(b) of the RTI Act on the college website.
Functions of the RTI Cell
- Receive, record, and process applications filed under the RTI Act.
- Forward requests to concerned sections/departments for necessary action.
- Maintain records of RTI applications and replies.
- Publish mandatory proactive disclosures (college rules, regulations, policies, fee structure, faculty details, etc.) on the website.
- Submit compliance reports to the Principal and IQAC for NAAC documentation.

Facilities of RTI Cell
- RTI application acceptance through written form at the college office.
- RTI Information Desk and guidance for applicants.
- College website section with mandatory disclosures (as per Section 4 of RTI Act).
Reporting & Review
- The RTI Cell will maintain a register of RTI applications and responses.
- Annual reports will be submitted to the Principal and included in the IQAC Annual Report (AQAR) for NAAC accreditation.
- Proactive disclosures will be regularly updated on the college website.
